Meet my gerbils- current gerbils
I've had quite a few gerbils over the years, and at times, quite a few at once! But right now, I'm back down to 'normal' numbers, at just one pair!
My current gerbils are Pixel and Parsley, after Pixel's sister Minty passed away awhile back. They didn't get along for a while in the split cage, but now they've been living together happily for some time.
Pixel is the oldest gerbil I've ever had, at around two and a half years. She's a cute, petite REH, though she's whiter than she used to be!
Little Pixie is also the sweetest, most docile gerbil I ever had. If I was going to admit to playing favorites, I would say that she is my favorite gerbil. :)
Parsley is still my rambunctious, mischievous rascal. She's a gorgeous two-year-old Siamese, with lots of energy for escape attempts. Still, she's calmed down as she's gotten older and is a bit more tame and friendly. Her and Pixel are getting along great.
I am sorry I am am commenting so much. This blog is so good. It has really helped me out and I think I can take care of the gerbils now. It also helped me realize I have to take this series because it is not easy to take care of them and that it isn't all fun and games. Thanks Anna you have been such a good help and friend.
ReplyDeleteI've really enjoyed your comments- no need to apologize!! I'm glad it's helped you out. Gerbils are, like any pet, responsibility and not just fun and games as you said. . . but there's still plenty of fun involved. :)
DeleteI'm happy to have helped! And I'm also happy to see the gerbils going to a good home- I'm sure you'll do great! Thanks Afton! :)
No thank you! Is there any way I could send this pic of Maggy and Pepper to my aunt to show her that they are not gross?
DeleteWell, you could either forward the email I sent you with the pics (did you ever get that?) to her, or you could always just give her the link to this page and tell her which ones they are.
